    Spark plug is one of the most important parts of a bike. Spark plug plays a major role in starting the bike engine. As such it can be called the engine key.

    All those who ride bikes regularly know that different parts of the bike have to be serviced or some parts have to be changed.

    Spark plug is one of them. According to the book, the spark plug of the bike should be cleaned after every 1000 km and changed after 4000 km.

    However, depending on the driving style, it may break even before 4000 km and it can give service like brand new even at 30000 km.

    There are two main reasons for Zcon spark plugs to fail.

    If the mixture of air and fuel of the engine is not correct:

    If the mixture of air and fuel in the engine of the bike is not at the right level, then oil will flow into the spark plug. This will cause the spark plug to become oily. As a result, the spark plug cannot spark properly. will lose its effectiveness.

    If water enters under any condition:

    If the bike’s spark plug gets wet in rain or while washing the bike, and if you try to start the bike in this condition, the spark plug may burn.

    Generally bike spark plug wear is very low, in most cases its power is reduced. When its power is reduced, its effect is on the engine.

    The question is how do you know that the bike’s spark plug needs to be changed. Let us use a picture to understand the matter

    First Image: In this image, the spark plug is brown in color. This is the most normal and natural position of the spark plug. If your bike’s spark plug is in this condition, wipe it lightly. In this condition you can run for several more days.

    2nd Image: In this image it is seen that the top part of the spark plug is brown but its body is black. This means the spark plug is at risk. It’s best if you change it. But it has its function. You can run for quite a while longer with the cleaner.

    3rd Image: This image shows the spark plug completely black. You will see oil in many fields. If you touch it with your fingers, you will get ink on your hands. This spark plug is almost dead. Under no circumstances should a wet or oily spark plug be installed.

    The spark plug of the bike may need to be damaged or changed due to several other reasons, such as, if the porcelain part with the spark plug gets cracked or the patch of the spark plug is cut or the sparking part of the spark plug is broken, etc.

    If you want to get maximum service from your beloved bike, it needs to be monitored regularly. If there is a problem with something, it should be repaired or replaced.
