Service point second home to bikers. No matter how good the brand of your bike is or how powerful the engine is, you must go to the service point for regular maintenance.

And for those who regularly visit the service point, a picture is very common, that is, when you go, you will see the oil seal of the front or rear suspension of any bike being changed.

Maybe once or twice you have also visited the service point with problems.

But the question is what are the reasons for this oil seal to be cut or damaged?

What are the reasons for this oil seal being cut after a few days in some bikes?

A few days ago my friend’s R 15 V3 bike had its oil seal cut, then he was asking me why the oil seal keeps breaking or what is the actual cause of the cut and how can I get rid of this problem.

Actually the problem is not only my friend’s problem but many bike lovers. So for the convenience of all, today I will discuss the cause of this problem, why it happens and why it happens again and again, as well as the ways to get rid of it.

What is the function of oil seal?

The suspension gives us a healthy jolt by adjusting our body weight as well as the broken parts of the road when we ride.

Oil or a type of oil mainly works inside the suspension. And the job of the oil seal is to prevent this oil from coming out from the inside and to protect the oil from coming out somehow when the bike shakes.

Let’s first have a little idea about why this problem occurs.

    Driving on broken roads

Since it is an electric part and has no sense or intelligence of its own, it will start giving you trouble when you give it more pressure than it can handle or if you put more pressure on it than what it is capable of while driving on broken roads.

    If the oil is old

Usually, with the amount of oil that is in an oil seal, this capacity is good for 8 to 10 thousand kilometers, after which you need to change the oil that is in it.

If you don’t put the original

The oil seal of your bike can be damaged for any number of reasons, whether it is due to excessive driving on bumpy roads or being in an accident. But when reinstalling if you don’t put the original oil seal in case the fake oil seal will not be able to adjust to the suspension of your bike then after 2 to 5 days it will be damaged or start to have problems. will do

    If the rod is old

Whether it is when replacing an old oil seal or because the oil seal has accumulated dirt or sand on the oil seal for a long time, if for any reason the parts of the oil seal are rubbed or damaged in any way, then no more oil seal adjust on this rod. can’t be

Then even if you install the original oil seal, the problem will occur.

However, you know the main reasons, now let’s discuss the solution.

Keep one thing in mind while buying a bike, once all the accessories or parts that are attached to your bike are damaged, no matter how many original ones you install, it is difficult and impossible to get that service like new or before.

    Be careful

What you need to do is to take care of the bike differently from the beginning and be a little more careful with the parts that you use the most.

    Must be cleaned regularly

The bike is bought to help or serve our urgent needs. Taking extra care of the bike, the bike can no longer be kept at home. All you have to do is take the bike out when you need it but clean it when you bring the bike home.

No grease oil or anything else can be used from outside

Many people think that this is the work of the spring. If I put a little oil or grease on the outside, it seems to work a little easier. You may have thought well but the solution you are talking about would be suicidal for your bike.
In fact, the words or names we are using here are our current and common names. Because our aim is not to educate you, but to explain the problem nicely and bring out the solution.
