We all ride motorcycles. But does everyone know how many sectors are there in this motorcycle or motorbike and work on them.

Today I will discuss about this unknown sector here. One thing that everyone knows about motorcycles is the ABS system.

But what is this ABS system and what is its main function? Let’s know what this system actually is and how it works.

ABS system is Anti Lock Breaking System. There are two types of Anti Lock Breaking System. These are:

    1. Single Channel ABS (Anti Lock Breaking System).
    2. Dual Channel ABS (Anti Lock Breaking System).

Read more: CBS, ASB and UBS Which braking system is better? And why?

    Function of ABS:

The function of the ABS system is to help prevent the wheels from locking when the driver brakes the motorcycle or motor bike.

Simply put, the ABS system prevents the wheels from locking. Basically this work is done through a sensor

. After a driver presses the brakes, this sensor creates pressure in the ABS brake fluid so that the wheels no longer have a chance to lock.

Anti Lock Breaking System constantly monitors the speed of two wheels with its sensors. So with braking, the brake fluid pressure builds up in accordance with the speed of the bike.

Now we will know about two steps of Anti Lock Breaking System. Which are: Single ABS, Dual ABS.

    Single ABS:

This Single Anti Lock Breaking System has a sensor on the front wheel of the motorcycle. This prevents the wheels from locking easily.

In case of this Single ABS, you can keep this system on or off if you want. But you can do wheelies or stunts with those bikes which have Single ABS.

    Dual ABS :

Sensors work together in Dual Anti Lock System. In simple terms, after the driver presses the brakes, the sensor applies brake pressure equally on both wheels.

And since its main function is brake fluid. No matter how hard the driver presses the brake, if the Anti Lock system is on, the sensor reduces the pressure of the brake fluid so that the brakes do not lock.

ABS systems have reduced accidents a lot these days. It will decrease further. It will be easier to understand if the present discussion is accompanied by an example.

What if I take the bike on dirt or sandy roads? As soon as I press the brakes, I will lose control and fall to the ground. right? But this ABS system will prevent me from this fall.

How do you know? The sensors of this ABS system will not allow the wheels to lock. As a result you have zero chance of falling to the ground.

Many people have no idea about this feature as all the previous bikes did not have this feature or system. Some have only heard the name of the system, not the work.

It started its practice abroad long ago. It is known that ABS system started in Germany in 1928. And this system was first used in 1958 in Royal Enfield motor bike.

During the bike ride, if something suddenly moves in front of the driver, the driver starts to see darkness in his eyes. Can’t understand what to do.

During this short time the head also does not work properly. Time goes by thinking whether to brake or not. If you brake again, it falls into place by itself.

This is basically why the ABS system was invented. The application of this system will reduce accidents a lot.

Motor cycle or motor bike has been around for many years in this country. Its role as one of the communication vehicles is immense. But unfortunately almost all motorbikes in the country have not yet come under the ABS system.

As a result accidents are happening constantly. How many hundreds of people are losing their lives. But there is nothing wrong or fault of the driver here. Just lack a system.

How many lives motorcyclists are losing on highways or world roads due to lack of this system. Sudden braking causes the bike to slow down abnormally and cause an accident.

In daily life we have to go through many adversities. We have to take bikes even on rainy, oily roads. But there is no possibility of accident.

Rather, people are surprised if it is not an accident. With ABS system we can ride the bike effortlessly even in these adverse conditions.

Imagine if a goat or a cow suddenly comes in front of you, it will be a terrible thing to pass. Because here the probability of falling off the bike is 90 out of 100.

Some may go by luck. But with ABS there is no possibility of accident or rider falling. Rather, it is going to be bypassed very simply or laughingly.

Let’s think again about someone’s house or house in a hilly area. They have to give bike rides on such roads every day. Mountain roads get greasy on rainy days.

The chances of accidents are high on straight roads where the rider struggles. At any time it can slip and fall just by braking. But the ABS system will prevent the rider from this fall.

As a result, there is no possibility of any damage to the rider or the bike. Basically ABS or Anti Lock Breaking System is needed for these purposes.

    Conclusion

Anyway from the above discussion we have told about ABS or Anti Lock Breaking System. Which again has two steps.
