A common problem for regular bike riders is that the bike’s meter connection suddenly goes off. Normally when you turn on the bike with the key, the meter of the bike appears to be fine, but when you flash it, your meter goes clear or white. What could be the reason for this?

I have seen many people waste a lot of money because of not knowing the real cause of the problem.

First of all, those who have the security lock installed, start talking with their eyes fixed on the security lock. Think there is a connection problem with the lock that is causing this. The mechanic who set up this lock did not do a good job or the lock tie is not good.

    Common thinking:

Again, I have seen many people saying that the bike battery is old or the battery power is gone.

One might think that the connection of the bike meter may have become weak.

What is the root cause of this problem? What do you do when you encounter this problem?

Today we will discuss how you can easily solve the problem yourself without going to a bike service mechanic.

How can you be sure that it is not doing so because of the problems mentioned above? Could it be due to security lock, battery or meter connection?

Well, let’s clear this up first.

There are many reasons behind these problems like, if it was due to your security lock then you would have faced the problem earlier with the security lock. It could be seen that the security lock is ringing unexpectedly or the bike is giving up your start or stopping while running.

If the battery was down then it would be seen that the light of your bike’s head light has decreased. The sound of the bike horn is reduced.

Or if we talk about the meter connection, if the meter connection is weak, it will be seen that the meter will not get the connection. or will not light up with keying.

If there are problems, you will know in advance that there is a problem.

All of a sudden the meter of the bike is going off and if you kick it, the bike starts right, which is the main reason for this problem, I will tell you now.

    Problems solution

When someone comes across this problem, first check the fuse that is provided with the bike battery.

In this case you may need a little tool. A single screw or a nut may need to be loosened.

When you open the case, you will see that there is a fuse around the battery.

There are more reasons why this thing doesn’t happen to people who are basically riding new bikes. A fuse on a new bike is usually not a problem for those who are riding an old bike because when you open it you will see that the two heads are connected to a brass material at both ends.

Due to not moving the area for a long time, a coating like fungus falls on it. Due to which the connection is weak.

It turns out that the meter lights up when you key, but when you slafe it needs more power and your battery is dropping the connection because it can’t supply that power through this connection.

It is very simple to solve. Take the fuse in hand and wipe it cleanly on the two connection lines.

If you see that even after this your problem is not solved then you should check the battery of the bike. Is there a proper amount of charge, is the battery down, etc.

If the battery is down, charging the battery to the correct amount or changing the battery will solve the problem.

If you still find that the battery is fine then you can check your meter relay.

But most of the time you don’t have to walk that far, just the battery fuse is the most common cause of this problem, so don’t panic, be confident and check everything periodically with a cool head.
