Motorcycle is a name of love. A biker does not like to cross without a slightly faster bike. And the more you ride, the longer your bike tires will wear naturally.

Maybe a tire is not worth much to a passionate biker. But have you thought about it? New tires, the cost of fitting the tires, and the irony of changing tires with your growing affinity with the tires all add up to a huge hassle.

But with a little awareness, you can increase the durability of your bike tires. So let’s know those tips.

Tire Pressure:

Correct tire pressure is very important for bike tire durability. Just as higher tire pressure tends to damage the tire from the inside, the tougher outer part causes wear from the outside due to friction. Again low tire pressure can put the bike tires as well as wheel rims at risk. So the tire pressure of the bike should be checked at least once every week.

Service Point:

A good service point has a lot to do with the durability of the entire bike, not just the tires. Whether the air pump from which air is being filled in the tire is fresh, whether the device attached to the wheel nozzle is correct or whether the machine with which the tire pressure is being checked is also important. There is no substitute for a good service point for bike tires and overall bike health.

Good Road:

Choose good road as much as possible while riding bike. We don’t want to care about small potholes while running. But if you look closely you will find that most of the times your bike gets punctured, these small holes are the only reason. Also, small pebbles lying on the road or broken glass pieces of cars/buses can damage bike tires. At least once a week, check the bike tires properly, take care of minor punctures.

Pillion:

People who travel with regular pillions need to be more careful. Excess weight is also harmful to the bike along with the tires. Adjust tire pressure when driving with pillion. You can increase it a little.

Old bike:

If you buy an old bike, you need to be more careful with the tires. Try not to park in direct sunlight. The rays emitted from AC or generator are harmful to bike tires. Also try to keep the wheels free of any oil.

If your bike tire is punctured for any reason, fix it very quickly. Of course both inside and outside. Only one repair is risky.

Basically using tire gel is a temporary solution. It does not last long after repair. You must get the tire fixed as soon as possible.

If you ride a bike normally, your bike tires can easily last up to 20 thousand km. In some cases it can last up to 30 thousand km. But if you frequently break hard or burn tires, it will wear off very quickly. However, no matter how you ride, check your tires regularly for your own safety and that of your bike.

Conclusion

increasing the durability of bike tires is essential for any cyclist who wants to enjoy a smooth and safe ride. By following the tips mentioned above on how to increase the durability of bike tires, such as maintaining proper tire pressure, avoiding sharp objects, and choosing the right tire for your riding conditions, you can extend the life of your tires and save money in the long run. Don’t forget to regularly inspect your tires for wear and tear, and replace them when necessary. With these simple steps, you can ride with confidence and enjoy the journey ahead.
