Many times, we notice that oil is leaking from various parts of our bike engine. Many people get worried after seeing it.

In fact, if you don’t have a complete understanding of any subject, it is normal to get overly worried or dismiss the subject altogether. In this case, too, the same thing happens to everyone.

Some people get overly worried about whether their bike is really bad, whether the company gave them a bad bike or not, why the bike’s engine broke down so quickly, etc.

Today we will discuss why oil is coming out of the outside of your bike engine and what ways to get rid of it.

Let us know at the beginning that there is usually a possibility of oil leakage through some part of the engine.

    • Oil dip stick
    • Class Receiver
    • Kick lever
    • Chain adjuster
    • Connection of engine head
    • Connection of cylinder
    • Engine head
    • ASB pump
    • gear lever
    • Neutral switch
    • Engine speedometer switch
    • Different parts of the engine

By now, you probably know about the possible places for engine oil leakage. Now let’s discuss the main causes of engine oil leaking from all these places.

Now you may be wondering whether these places are present in all bikes or if all bikes are prone to leaks.

Every bike is different, but here we have tried to highlight the main parts that leak engine oil the most.

Again, it can be seen that the bike of the same company with the same model is leaking oil through various parts of the engine after running for 5 thousand kilometers. Any bike is like new even after running 30 thousand kilometers. What is the main reason behind this?

What do you do, or how do you maintain your bike to keep it looking brand new?

Now let’s know why oil leaks.

Inside the engine, while the engine is running, the engine oil is repeatedly dispersed in the various parts of the engine. At this time, the engine oil has pressure, and due to this pressure, if it gets into a hole or gap in any part of the engine, the engine oil starts leaking from there.

There are different types of nuts on the top, body, sides, and bottom of the engine. If somehow these plays are opened and the patch is cut while being over-tightened during installation, there is a possibility of engine oil leaking through these parts.

If the parts that we use to get engine oil into the engine and take it out when changing get too tight while taking the engine oil in or out, the patches on the nuts will come off. The result is that it creates a gap with the engine and leaks oil through these parts when the engine is running and there is pressure in the engine oil.

Each of the devices that are installed on the engine has a gasket or an O-ring-type rubber gasket. If somehow this rubber gasket expires or somehow this gasket is damaged, then the distance between this part and the engine body is created. As a result, engine oil leaks through these parts.

    Now let’s discuss the solutions.

The solution is very simple but difficult: open the parts that are leaking oil and check the o-ring-type gaskets; if they are not of the correct size, change them; hopefully it will be fixed.

If you notice that oil is leaking from the engine of your bike, then there is no need to worry too much. As soon as you notice the problem, you go to the service center and get it fixed.
