Naturally, when you think of octane boosters, boosters boost fuel. Means increases mileage. Although octane booster increases the mileage of the bike slightly but the amount of money you spend on buying octane booster will give you more mileage than if you were to buy fuel.

Now the question is why should you use octane booster?

    How does octane come about?

As many of us know that octane is not directly obtained from the mines, the crude/brent oil obtained from various oil mines is mainly unrefined.

And by refining that crude oil with various chemicals, diesel, kerosene, petrol, octane, jet fuel etc. fuel oil is obtained from that oil.

Many people think that petrol and octane are separate oils and are available separately, but actually petrol is a low refined oil and octane is a high refined oil which is essentially the same oil only one is less refined and the other is higher.

And this refinement has a standard based on which is petrol and which is octane. This unit of measurement is called RON number.

According to the instructions given by the government of our country, the oil whose RON number is less than 80 times is petrol and the oil whose RON number is 81 or more is octane.

    What is Octane Booster?

An octane booster is a chemical that refines the fuel and makes it more suitable for motorcycle engines. One thing to say is that the octane booster increases the RON number in the fuel.

    How does Octane Booster work?

Air and fuel are burned equally in the engine and produce a power that power is transmitted to the rear wheel through the chain and our bike starts moving forward. Octane booster works to increase the ran number of the fuel that enters the engine. As a result, as long as it could burn before, the use of octane booster increases that amount of burning power.

As a result, the fuel can burn longer and the bike can run for a little longer.

    Benefits of using Octane Booster?

Naturally, when you think of octane boosters, boosters boost fuel. Means increases mileage. Although octane booster increases the mileage of the bike slightly but the amount of money you spend on buying the octane booster will give you more mileage than if you were to buy fuel.

Now the question is why you should use octane booster. We usually do not get the quality fuel that the engine is designed for when it is manufactured.

As a result the engine loses its power due to poor fuel burning day by day. Decrease in self-efficacy. Octane booster makes the fuel suitable for the engine resulting in increased engine performance.

    Disadvantages of using Octane Booster?

If it is not used properly or if too much booster is used in less fuel then you will not be able to run the bike properly without octane booster. As a result, if you are in any danger, if octane is not with you, the performance of the bike will decrease and the engine will be damaged.

Some common words of the market

There is a rumor in the market that octane boosters can dry out or decrease if left open. However, boosters do not contain any chemicals that can volatilize or dry out when exposed to air. So, to know the good octane booster, you can take the booster and keep it open for a while.

    Octane booster usage levels

Of the options we’ve seen on the market, we’ve found the two octane boosters we use, CVC and Liquimly, to perform well. But even though the company says to use it with 12 liters of fuel, we got good performance using a 50 ml file between 8 and 10 liters.

But for those who want to use it for the first time, it is important to first use the injector cleaner.
