If your engine goes bad suddenly, noise is coming from the engine often, or the bike is not moving well, these signs will tell you that your engine oil is adulterated.
Some riders think that only changing the engine oil will improve the mileage of the bike. But many people don’t know that using fake engine oil also reduces mileage. If your engine goes bad suddenly, noise is coming from the engine often, or the bike is not moving well, these signs will tell you that your engine oil is adulterated

Using fake engine oil will damage the engine

Car or bike machinery works smoothly, and engines perform better when using genuine engine oil. Inferior-quality engine oil has a low viscosity, and its use results in improper engine lubrication.
As a result, the engine gradually jams. In such a situation, it is almost obvious that the engine sounds only when the bike is started. This is usually due to a lack of lubrication. Bad engine oil reduces engine performance. Good-quality oil enhances engine performance.

Using fake engine oil causes engine overheating problem

It is normal for the engine to get a little warm when riding the bike regularly.
If the engine oil is not genuine, your engine may experience overheating problems a little more. In this case, your engine’s performance will decrease. Of course, check the quality of engine oil before buying.

Using adulterated engine oil reduces mileage

If your bike’s ready pickup seems low despite everything being fine, then your bike’s engine oil is contaminated. Using adulterated engine oil does not activate the lubrication in the bike engine. As a result, the mileage decreases and the performance of the bike deteriorates.

Using fake engine oil causes problems in bike gear shifting

In a bike, the engine, gearbox, and clutch perform together as a unit. So if the alignment of any one part is bad, the performance of the bike is reduced.
Many times, you will notice that the parts of the bike are in perfect alignment, yet the gears are not shifting easily. If this happens even after everything is fine, then you know that the engine oil you are using is adulterated.

Using adulterated oil causes engine noise

Unless there is a problem with all the other mechanical parts of the bike, usually the noise from the engine is not so frequent. But if you notice this, you will understand that you are using fake engine oil. If you notice a lot of noise coming from the engine most of the time when you brake or accelerate, then you are most likely using fake oil.

It is safest to buy genuine engine oil only from authorized dealers. To avoid fakes, never purchase engine oil other than from the original source. Avoid buying open-engine oil from uncertain brands or from cheap shops.

How harmful is the wrong-grade engine oil for a bike?

The engine oil grade and brand are recommended by the bike company. They import the oil from the recommended brand. It is said that if you do not follow the recommendation, the engine warranty will be void. Many of us misunderstand the companies. I think that the company is forcing us to buy their oil by making rules to make a profit by selling oil. Is this really the case???

Why does the company recommend brand- and grade-A oils?

In fact, the company recommends the brand and grade so as not to spoil the engine by buying fake or low-quality oil from outside.

Misconception of worn-grade engine oil.

Many people say that “even after using the wrong grade, the bike did not have any problems.”

This is a complete misconception. If using the wrong grade, the bike will run fine, but mileage may drop, and long-term use will drop engine performance and durability. The clutch section may also be affected.

The event happens in a very slow process, so it is not understood quickly. I used to use the wrong grade of engine oil due to a lack of knowledge. I used to pour car engine oil MA/MA2, but Jaso did not borrow these, but since I started following the recommendations, I realized that I am getting better performance, acceleration, and mileage than before.

Earlier, people were not so aware of these issues, like vibration, mileage, heating issues, drain period, sound, acceleration, and fake oil.

But any brand of oil is fine as long as it is not adulterated and is of the grade specified by the manufacturer.

But it is better not to change the brand again and again because it takes a long time to suit the oil engine.

Due to the low quality of fuel in many countries, the oil wears out quickly, and since the company is giving the engine warranty, why should the company or dealer take responsibility if the engine is filled with fake oil for 13 hours???

Suppose the charging support of your mobile phone is 5 volts or 10 watts. If you use a non-recommended 30W charger for fast charging and it damages the phone’s circuit or battery, are you eligible for warranty coverage???

These are the reasons why companies recommend brands and grades that, even after agreeing, will take responsibility for engine problems, and it’s logical.

Conclusion

The most important thing to consider while buying oil is whether the oil you are buying is genuine, but since it is very difficult to distinguish fake oil from genuine oil by looking at the bottle,. Because the fake oil bottle is genuine, try your best to collect the oil from the authorized dealer point, and after refilling the oil, definitely discard the bottle.
